You can help them keep track of their responsibilities and, most definitely, accomplishments by creating a mini-notepad for them as your Mother’s Day gift.
All you need to do is to change the settings of your word processor according to your desired size of your notepad. You can also add some fancy designs, perhaps cute pictures of her and you during your fun times. You may also divide the paper into different sections, such as a column for her daily task list and her own reflection. To make them more special, you can leave out your personal messages in every page. This way, she will constantly be reminded of how much you appreciate and love her. When you feel like you are ready to compile these pages, print them in your laser printer. Make sure that you have set the quality of your print to High so colors will become more vivid and texts are clearer.
2. Group all her favorite photos. Make your mom laugh and reminisce her glorious days during Mother’s Day through a photo collage. It’s also an excellent project for kids. You can choose to come up with your own theme. Perhaps you want to focus on her early childhood days (surely Grandma still has her pictures), her times with your dad, or, most of all, your bonding moments together. You can also opt to select several random pictures—whatever works for you.
As one of your Mother’s Day gifts, you can settle for the old route, which means you will compile and paste them in a cardboard so you can create your own photo collage. However, you must keep in mind that this will take time, and if the photo collage gets lost, you will never regain all those precious pictures. To save yourself the hassle and to help solve some of these issues, scan these pictures and produce the collage right at your own computer. You can make use of photo programs for it. When you are already satisfied with what you have done, you can then print your photo collage in a color printer using an A4, short, or long bond paper. Just look for a sturdy and intricately design picture frame afterwards.
