Kids can also walk through housing areas picking up recyclable trash and help clean up neighborhoods, this is perfect for class activities and community building provided they are supervised by a responsible adult. Recycling with kids is important as the world is becoming more conscious and alert to the cause of protecting the earth from complete destruction.

It is incredibly important to influence the youth on recycling as they are the future generation who will have to deal with what our generation and the ones before have left behind. Children are more easily influenced than adults, so the best education begins when people are young and can develop an early respect for the environment. This gained respect will carry on into adulthood where they can pass it on to the following generations. Teaching kids to preserve the environment is one of the most important lessons they will learn as it is one of the most important lessons adults should teach.
