Finding the Cheapest Printer Ink Cartridge
Finding cheap printer ink cartridges are a big challenge before remanufactured printer inks came to the market. Now, it seems like printing costs have never been lower. Among the class of remanufactured inks, you can divide them into the cheap, the not-so-cheap, and the really cheap. Finding the cheapest printer ink depends on the compatible printer model. Some printer models have more market for remanufactured printer inks, which drives the price down. Photo printers and specialized printer inks such as MICR toners command higher prices, but they are still more affordable than their OEM counterparts. As you shop for printer ink cartridges, you will learn that common printer models have low printer ink prices.
Among the Dell printer models, the Dell Inkjet Series has the cheapest printer inks. These models include the Dell 720, Dell 725, Dell 810, Dell 920, Dell A920, and the Dell A960 to name a few. These Dell printers are the older models, but they still pack a lot of punch when it comes to home and office productivity. You can also get printer inks for these models in a value pack that priced at $50.
Canon printers are known for their rich photo output and color prints. Yet they also have the cheapest printer ink cartridges in the market. For avid fans of the Canon Pixma, you can get a Canon CLI-8 or BC cartridge for as little as $6 per piece. Even their OEM counterparts register lower than other printer models. The most popular Canon printers are the multi-functional color printers such as Canon MP160, Canon MP830, Canon MP530, and Canon MP610. You can surely find affordable printer ink cartridges for these models.

Other HP printer models with the cheapest inks are HP 5610, HP 1610, HP 6210, and HP C4280.
Brother printer ink cartridges are generally cheaper compared to HP and Dell models. A Brother black ink cartridge LC41BK is pegged at $17 give or take depending where you ask. The Brother cyan ink cartridge LC41C, Brother magenta ink cartridge LC41M, and Brother yellow ink cartridge LC41Y are priced at $9 for 400 page-yield. Usually, the more popular printer models in offices have cheaper ink cartridges. So if you are an office manager looking to curb cost, ask yourself what is the perfect office printer for you and what is the purpose for the purchase? There are also other factors other than cheap per-piece ink prices that will contribute to overall printing cost such as cost of paper, printer maintenance, print-yield, and power consumption.
